It can be hard for a business to survive in the food industry. Even if a company does all it can to provide excellent service to customers, one incident can lead to falling stocks and bad PR. Case in point: Chipotle. The Mexican fast food chain Chipotle has had a rough year. Since late last year, the restaurant has had its share of food poisoning issues, including E.coli and norovirus. This had led to restaurant closures, sick customers and lawsuits. As one can imagine, this bad PR has caused the business to suffer.
Despite Chipotle’s setbacks, the restaurant chain is looking to bounce back and even make a comeback. Earlier this year, each location gave out free food to gain goodwill toward customers. Several months ago, it had another free food promotion. And now, there’s – you guessed it – another free food promotion. If you like winning – and eating – free food, read on to find out how you can take part and possibly win.
If you end up not winning the free burritos for a year (), it's okay. All you have to do is subscribe to our Chipotle emails to get awesome deals, offers, and coupons year-round. Burritos forever!

Besides the free burrito sweepstakes, you can use Chiptopia to help you earn rewards. The program started July 1 and ends September 30. During that time, eat at your local Chipotle and get a rewards card from the cashier. Register the card and you’ll get rewarded. You don’t get points or rewards based on how much you buy. You’re rewarded for how often you visit. You’ll get a free entrée for every four burritos you buy in one month. But here’s the thing - you can’t buy them all in one day. Only one burrito per day qualifies, so you’ll have to visit Chipotle at least four times a month. There are three rewards levels: mild, medium and hot. By achieving a level all three months, you could win a free entrée, merchandise and free catering. However, you must have received a status level by July 31. But even if you don’t win the sweepstakes, you can still win some awesome goodies. Sound good? Click here to learn more about this program and how to earn rewards.
If you’re still a fan of Chipotle despite its setbacks, be sure to show your support by signing up for the rewards program and sweepstakes. You can’t get a better deal than free, so don’t miss out on this special promotion. Sign up soon and you could be getting your Chipotle burrito fix every week for a year. Wouldn’t that be an awesome prize? If you don’t win, you can always try ordering extra meat or getting free guacamole on your next visit. It doesn’t hurt to ask, right? Given the dire circumstances Chipotle faced, the employees will likely be happy to oblige.
