Wet shoes are uncomfortable - there's no doubt about it. They're great in the summer when water-filled activities are happening frequently, and they're perfect preparation for fall and winter when the weather can get rainy and snowy. You only need 3 materials (and one of them is your pair of shoes!), it's super easy to do, and it's cheaper than buying a bottle of waterproof spray from the store. Check it out!

  1. Rub the beeswax all over your shoes, covering them completely. You may want to wear gloves while you do this, but the beeswax will wash off easily, so this is based on your preference.
  2. Use a blow dryer to melt the beeswax onto your shoes.
  3. Let them sit for 5 minutes before wearing. The beeswax will make your shoes a little stiff, so you might need to re-break them in.
