Yesterday, Kroger announced that they have plans to fill approximately 10,000 full-time positions in their supermarket divisions this year. In 2016, the company actively grew their total workforce by over 12,000 new members. In 2017, they hope to continue down the same trajectory in offering new opportunities to be a part of the Kroger family.
Tim Massa, Kroger’s group vice president of human resources noted that 70% of Kroger’s store managers began as part-time clerks and goes on to say that “Kroger is a place where you can come for a job and stay for a career.”
