While Apple only gave a preview of the new iOS 11, there are still plenty of major updates that are worthy of praise. This will be the biggest software release for the iPad in its history, and iOS 11 is also delivering the largest augmented reality platform worldwide for an enhanced experience for both the consumer and developer. More notable features include paying friends via Apple Pay, enabling Do Not Disturb mode while driving to promote attention to the road, brand new voice options for Siri, and of course, improvements in Photos and Camera.
With an improved system, users now have more power and capabilities in their hands than ever. Multitasking will become a breeze to manage with new customization, access, and organizational features that will optimize performance on iPads and iPhones. Moreover, by way of the built-in camera, the new AR experience will assist developers in building top technologies in regards to virtual content. Finally, users can also expect to shop in a newly redesigned App Store to make searching for games and apps easier. The iOS 11 update will be available for iPhone and iPad in the fall. If you're looking to redefine the way you listen to music, the HomePod may be the device you've been waiting for. A wireless speaker powered by Siri that claims to deliver incomparable audio quality and spatial awareness, the HomePod gets personal when it comes to music as it is compatible with an Apple Music subscription and is controlled via voice. Sitting at just under 7 inches tall, the HomePod houses over 40 million songs in its library, so individual music tastes will be considered and new music will be suggested accordingly.
In addition to offering musical entertainment, the HomePod can also be used as a home assistant. Ask Siri to send iMessages, share the latest in world news, and even manage smart home devices. HomePod even works beyond inside the home in collaboration with the Home app to control home automations via iPad or iPhone. Reconsider the way you work with Apple's latest product line - the iMac Pro. As the most powerful iMac ever debuted, professionals will be able to employ this "27-inch Retina 5K display, up to 18-core Xenon processors, and up to 22 Teraflops of graphic computation" to its highest degree to create the best output possible.
