Are you as ready to leave 2016 as we are? Whether you’re out and about partying the night away, having a relaxing get-together or just hosting a Netflix party… here are a few simple makeup looks so you can look fab wherever you are. Check out a few of the top-rated beauty products below to help you achieve each look!
This simple look is perfect for any occasion and only require a few staple makeup products. Ditch the foundation and stick with moisturizer for your skin for an au naturel look. This look is all about bright eyes and flushed rosy tones! Use a bright ivory shadow all over the lid and inner corner of the eye. Grab your fave liquid liner and create a thick cat eye at the outer corner of the eye (go light on the inner corner). Brush a soft coral shade on the apples of your cheek and finish off your look with any soft lip color in your collection.
This soft smokey look is easy to achieve with products you likely already have! Use a tan or caramel base all over your lid and above the crease. Brush a soft gold shadow all over your crease area and then smoke out the outer corners of your eye with a soft black eyeshadow. With the remaining black eyeshadow on your brush, fill the bottom half of your lower lashline. Make your eye pop with gold or pearl eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eyes! Apply your eyeliner and mascara as you usually do and dust a soft coral blush on the apples of your cheeks. Voilà! You’re ready to go.
Classic and so simple to do! The focal point of this timeless look is red lips and bright eyes. This look is a staple and works for everyone, you can always switch up your shade of red for a new look or go heavy on the cat eyeliner for a retro vibe. Give your cheeks a little depth with a light bronzer!
This makeup look requires a little more skill but who wouldn’t want to try those gorgeous ombré lips for the holidays? To achieve the sharp line where your crease and contour happens, place a strip of scotch tape from your bottom lash line (avoiding the lashes!) to the end of your brow before starting. Use an eyeshadow primer if you want the pigments to pop! Apply a warm caramel shadow on the entire eyelid then brush the warm plum shadow on and above the crease only. Blend out the harsh lines, then sweep the rose gold shadow all over your eyelid and then apply your eyeliner close to the lashline. Remove the scotch tape once you’re finished. The lip ombré is slightly more difficult so we recommend taking a look at this Youtube tutorial for more detailed instructions!
Another simple look like the Rosé All Day, these two looks has more neutral tones and you can pair almost any lip color to create a completely different look. Use a light gold eyeshadow all over your lids and brush a soft orange/brown on the outer corners of your eye. Create more depth by going over the outer corners with a darker brown. Draw your cat eye close to the lash line and finish off with mascara. For the cheeks, use a soft pink or peach blush and a nude highlighter for a soft glow on the cheekbone. Go with any lip color of your choice!
