We have received a few emails from Sports Authority this morning and guess what? The sporting goods retailer is now hosting their going-out-of-business liquidation sale. The liquidation sale will be available both in-store and online at Sports Authority.
Everything will be discounted up to 30% off original prices with free shipping on your order of $39 and over with no promotional code needed. For those in search of deeper discounts, we always suggest a peek at their outlet corner. We’re already seeing major drops featuring up to 50% off on Nike and adidas apparel. As the closing date approaches, we will no doubt see even higher last minute discounts. Keep up to date with the latest discount by checking back or subscribing to this Sports Authority promotional page.
As the email indicate, all sales are final and the liquidation sale will run through the end of August before Sports Authority officially shutter all 463 stores across the country. Additional deadlines and information are highlighted in the email as you can see below:
According to the Consumerist, Sports Authority still has a grand total of $92.5 million in outstanding gift cards as of April 2016. The sporting retailer just kicked off their close out sale and the official date when all stores are closing so you have a limited time left to put those gift cards to use. All shoppers have till June 28, 2016 to use your gift cards but they will no longer be selling any more new gift cards.
In any case, if you do happen to miss the deadline for gift cards, call your local store and see if they’re still willing to accept it (or better yet, just set a reminder to use your gift card soon).
