What did we do to deserve another holiday cup?
Starbucks has released a second holiday cup to make the season even merrier. This time around, the cup is predominantly red, and it is adorned with a blank heart in the middle with two hands framing it. According to their press release, "Starbucks encourages customers to recognize those who fill their heart and embody goodness this holiday season by writing that person's name in the heart of the cup. Customers can then share their dedicated cup on social media with the hashtag #GiveGood."
This is your chance to show someone you care by grabbing them a cup of their favorite Starbucks beverage, including their new dairy-free Toffee Almondmilk Hot Chocolate and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and personalizing it with their name. Whether that's your partner, best friend, parent, or anyone significant in your life, we know it'll make their day brighter!
If you love Starbucks or even live in the proximity of a Starbucks, you know their holiday cups are a big deal. Since 1997, the chain's fans eagerly await the debut of the year's holiday cups because they're beautifully designed and seem to make the holidays a bit merrier. Lucky for us, Starbucks stores throughout the U.S. and Canada are revealing the 2017 red cups today, November 1st.

For 2017, Starbucks wants the customers to add their own creative spin to their beverages. “This year’s cup is intentionally designed to encourage our customers to add their own color and illustrations,” stated Leanne Fremar, executive creative director for Starbucks, in the latest news article. “We love the idea of everyone making this year’s cup their own.” Each cup features a pair of hands holding red cups to symbolize a season of love, giving, and connection. The theme for this year's holiday campaign? "Give Good," which you can find on the cup sleeve for hot beverages. The cups also boasts references to red cups in previous years, and this is all drawn together by swirling ribbons and brushes of red and green for extra holiday spirit, of course.

This somewhat DIY approach for the red cups doesn't come as too much of a surprise as Starbucks customers have been decorating their cups for years. Along with the return of the red cups will be delicious holiday favorites such as the Caramel Brulée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, and Chestnut Praline Latte. We're definitely feeling the holidays a bit more after seeing these cups, and we can't wait to see what's in store for Starbucks.
