According to Business Insider, Starbucks will be closing their online store on October 1, 2017. They’re currently hosting a sale for up to 50% off on select items while supplies last and you can use coupon code EGIFT15 at checkout for a free $15 Starbucks e-gift card for purchases of $60 or more.
For those who typically shop Starbucks collections online, you can still do so via marketplace sellers like Amazon, Yamibuy, and any other Starbucks’ partners. Starbucks holiday gift baskets and limited edition collections will also be available from retailers like Target and Walmart both online and in stores.
In addition to closing their online store, the company is also looking to build “commercial partnerships” with other digital companies to amplify their online presence. No words yet on who is in consideration for these online partnership but if it's anything like Target's Cartwheel app offers, we're certainly excited to see!
Outside of Starbucks stores, shoppers are seeing more variety of Starbucks packaged goods on the grocery aisle and the company is still planning to introduce more variety as the new season settles in. As the fall season is creeping in, Starbucks is releasing its new bottled Pumpkin Spice Latte which will be coming to grocery stores near you later this month. The suggested retail price per 14-fluid-ounce bottle is $2.79. If you’re not a fan of lattes, they will also have the Pumpkin Spice flavored ground coffee hitting the shelf this month at $9.99 for an 11-ounce bag.
Another new beverage hitting Starbucks is the Dark Mocha Frappuccino, a rich chocolate blended beverage with creamy mocha-flavored sauce with chocolate chip bits in every sip. Also, if you haven’t yet, give their new Horchata Frappuccino a try! This sweet almond and cinnamon duo was revealed earlier this month but no words on how long it will remain on the menu.
