For that reason, most holiday shoppers (who wants to save of course) will be keeping close tabs on top retailers price matching policy. Who wants to brave the Black Friday (or any other holiday shopping) shopping rush just to be met with mediocre sales and deals? Not us. Take a look below for a roundup of popular retailers and their price matching policies and keep your eyes peeled for low prices this holiday season! Note that most retailers won’t be extending price matching to deals between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday/Cyber Week.

Target will Price Match any qualifying item from Target in-store and online with select competitors so long as you are able to provide proof of the lower price (either online or in an ad).
Price Match Deadline: You have 14 days to request a price match or adjustment (for in-store and online purchases). Walmart will Price Match both in-store and online items purchased at Walmart.com.
In-Store: The Price Match policies may vary from store to store and Walmart suggest calling or heading into your local Walmart (with proof of a lower price) for more details.
Online: If an item you purchased from Walmart been marked down (rollback, clearance, special buy etc), it will be eligible for a Price Match if requested within its return window (within 90-days of purchase). Walmart will not Price Match items purchased from Thanksgiving Day to the Monday after Thanksgiving (Black Friday will not be eligible for online Price Match). Amazon will only offer price matching for eligible televisions but for all other items sold on their site, no price matching will be available.
TV Low Price Guarantee: Amazon will offer price matching for televisions via their TV Low Price Guarantee. Only TVs sold by Amazon can be price matched and this service will not be valid if purchased from Amazon third-party seller. Price Match will not be offered for items purchased on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Prime Day.
TV Price Match Deadline: You have within 30 days of your purchase to request a Price Match if you find a lower price from one of Amazon’s qualifying competitor.
Best Buy will Price Match all local retailer competitors and their online prices (eligible competitors listed below) and will match any discrepancy between their own in-store and BestBuy.com prices. To request a Price Match, you must bring in an eligible competitor’s ad featuring the lower price or provide a URL to a Customer Specialist in-store or call 1-888-BEST BUY for an online Price Match. Price Match Deadline: Best Buy will Price Match most product from the time of purchase up to their return and exchange deadline. For most products, the standard return deadline is 15 days or 30 days for My Best Buy members (free to join). See the Best Buy Return Policy here.
This department retailer will Price Match competitor’s in-store prices but items purchased at Kohls.com or any other online pricing will not be eligible for Price Match. We recommend calling into your local Kohl’s to see what their price matching policies are like as it may vary by locations. Certain brands are excluded from Kohl’s in-store price matching. Leading toy retailer, Toys R Us, will offer Price Match Guarantee on in-store purchases only. To request a Price Match, you must provide the complete competitor ad or show the ad via the competitor’s website on your smartphone or device. Prices must be verifiable.

Sears will Price Match both in-store and online competitors. Price Match must be done at the time of purchase, however, if you purchased from Sears and find a lower price at the retailer (within 30 days of purchase), they will refund the difference. In-Store: for in-store competitors, Sears will match the price if you bring in a verifiable competitor’s full ad. The caveat? The price match will only be eligible on the day you make your purchase.
Online: if you find a lower price from an online competitor, you can either print or show the lower price on your mobile device in-stores or contact Sears via 1-800-349-4358. Same as in-store, the price match must be made at the time of purchase. Sears does not match Amazon or any internet-only retailers.
Bed Bath & Beyond has one of the more flexible Price Matching policies and will price match most items so long as the lower price is found from an eligible local competitor. Bed Bath & Beyond will take Price Match requests before or after your purchase. Additionall, you can request both and in-store or online price match.
In-Store: shoppers can request an in-store Price Match at your local Bed Bath & Beyond by presenting the competitor’s ad in print or on your mobile device along with your purchase receipt.
Online: you can also request a price match via phone by calling 1-800-GO-BEYOND and direct a customer service member to the competitor’s ad online. For items you’ve already purchased, you can also email the receipt and a link to the competitor’s online ad for a price match. Email their online customer support at customer.service@bedbath.com.
