As you are planning your Black Friday and Christmas shopping for the year, don’t forget mega-retailer Walmart. With its steep discounts and rollback prices, you are sure to find everything you are looking for. From electronics to clothes to and home goods, Walmart has it all and offers items at prices that are often lower than that of anyone else.

All signs point to Walmart being open for Black Friday shopping starting on November 23rd, Thanksgiving Day at 5 PM and stores should remain open all day on Black Friday. Black Friday online at Walmart.com starts at 12 AM ET on November 23rd and the deals remain live until the end of Black Friday. For Cyber Monday shoppers, early Cyber Monday deals will start at 12 AM ET on Saturday, November 25th with official Cyber Monday deals beginning at 12 AM ET on Monday, November 27th. These deals will run through the Friday, December 1st.

This is the time of the year to really cash in on what Walmart is excellent at offering – low prices. With these low prices comes incredible value if you can find name brands or the same item for less than it is sold elsewhere. Moreover, Walmart will be bringing back their doorbuster wristbands and interactive store maps to help handle the dangerous chaos of Black Friday in stores. Learn more about how these doorbuster wristbands work here. With so much offered at Walmart, it’s hard to know what items to watch for savings during your shopping on Black Friday and through Christmas.

electronics walmart

Electronics are a big area for Walmart with it competing against all the major retailers on name brand and popular items that customers want. Here are the top electronic items to seek out at Walmart during Black Friday and Christmas.

  • TVs
If you are looking for a cheap TV, Walmart is the place to go this Black Friday. This retailer is known for their unbeatable sales on TVs during this holiday, so make sure you know exactly what you want when you step foot inside the store. You can expect to find 40-inch HD LED TVs for as low as $99, and big brands such as Philips, LG, and Samsung offering 4K TVs starting at $259 and upward to $999 for a 75-inch 4K HDTV. While Walmart says that brands will vary by store, you could still get a good-quality television at a steal.

For the best deal on your next TV, we suggest doing research for to review all specs and read ratings about the television you’re eyeing so you know exactly what to expect. It’s not uncommon for brands to offer lower-level TV alternatives that mimic the appearance of higher-end televisions created just for Black Friday. Look for differences in the resolution, refresh rate, and the number of HDMI and USB ports to identify the correct television.
  • iPads and Tablets
iPads and tablets are on everyone’s wish list this year and Walmart offers plenty to choose from with models. While they offer brand-name tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet for under $80 and the iPad Mini 4 starting at $209, Walmart is a great destination for under-the-radar brands. For example, last year, the RCA 7” Android tablet was sold for only $28 and you can expect RCA 10 Viking Pro models for under $80 as well.

For iPad lovers, you can easily find older generations of iPads for under $200, such as the iPad Mini 2. These prices are comparable to everywhere you would look for Apple products on sale. Other Apple devices such as the iPad Air 2 will be available as well starting at $259.
  • Laptops
Walmart is a great destination to purchase a laptop at the best price, but don’t expect to find the top brands for laptops. You’ll run into brands such as Samsung, Acer, Dell, and HP. We’re expecting to see an 11.6” Samsung Chromebook 3 for as low as $139 with bigger, better-powered laptops starting at $199.

Walmart will also likely offer an HP printer for under $20. This could give you a complete computer and printer package for less than $220, which is a real deal that you shouldn’t pass up on.
  • Smartphones
Any iPhone or Samsung smartphone is available at Walmart during Black Friday and Christmas with incredible discount opportunities. Last year, any Apple or Samsung smartphone purchased on a qualifying AT&T Next or Verizon Device Payment was offered for $0 down and a $250 gift card.

Walmart is expected to offer these phones with as much as $200 to $250 in savings with a contract. While Black Friday 2016 included this deal on any phone by these manufacturers there is no telling if a deal like this would apply to the new iPhone 8 – doubtful.
  • Gaming Consoles & Video Games
We’re anticipating the PS4 Pro to be one of the most sought-after gaming consoles this year, and we are crossing our fingers that Walmart will introduce the PS4 Pro as one of its doorbusters and include doorbuster wristbands. Its Black Friday price will probably be around $299. Expect to be offered bundles with gaming console purchases, including a free gift card, video games, controllers, and the like.

If you’re looking for another console, the Xbox One S bundles and the Nintendo 3DS XL bundles will both start at $149. Look for popular video games starting at only $8.
