Every fall, candle and pumpkin spice latte sales increase. Every holiday season, your girlfriend smells like a sugar cookie. During flu season, there is always that one person with way too much hand sanitizer on hand. And there is one store in particular we have to thank, Bath & Body Works. Here are 9 ways to save at this beautiful place!

1. Save Expired Coupons

No, this is not the start to a thinkpiece on saving the environment—though, it is a start to a piece on saving money. Those coupons that feel like monetary, ticking time bombs have a three-day grace period. Yep, it’s true! So let’s say your coupon says it’s only valid until December 1, 2016, you can show up, December 4, 2016, and still get the savings!

2. Christmas Comes Twice a year

Go into any Bath & Body Works the day after ANY holiday, and reap the savings of holidays past. (We recommend stretching before stepping foot into your local B&BW—shoppers are feisty and ruthless when 50% candles are at stake.)

3. Don’t Put All Your Eggs in One Basket

This can vary basket to basket, but there are instances where you can actually purchase all the items in a basket separately, and save money rather than buying one big basket! An additional benefit to this tip is you’re able to spread the wealth, and pass out several gifts instead of giving just one basket to one person!

4. Buy in Bulk

You may reserve this logic for Costco and Whole Foods, but it applies to your local Bath & Body Works. Candles go out, lotion runs dry, and hand sanitizer is just something you can’t have enough of. You will save a great deal of money and parking lot hassle by stocking up on everything during one visit!

5. Survey Says

Now, most places ask you for your participation in a survey for a chance to win something or a chance to get a discount. At Bath & Body Works, every surveys serves as a discount. If you have time to read this article, you have an extra five minutes for additional savings!

6. Get Social

Bath & Body Works has many offers exclusive to their social media followers! So stop stalking your ex, and start stalking Bath & Body Works on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

7. Check the Savings

8. Mark Your Calendars

Get out that red Sharpie and your calendar, because there are a couple of days that will ensure MASSIVE savings. First, Black Friday. I know, I know, one of the more dreaded holidays is also the most bountiful. Usually Bath and Body Works will offer a VIP bag for $20 with a $40 purchase. Why would I want to spend another $20? Because, each of these bags is stuffed with over $100 worth of merchandise - AKA it’s well worth that $20 price tag. The other magical times of the year are January and June! If you wait for the Semi-Annual Sale Event, you can really rack up the savings. There will be items for 75% off, plus you can use your $10 off $30 coupons on these items!

9. Need Gift Wrap?

Go into the store! If you go online and request assistance with your gift wrapping, you’re bound to pay at least $5. However, in the store, it will only cost you a smile and a little patience while the cashier makes your gift all gorgeous for you!
