Can be used as internal or external USB hard drive

A solid state drive just doubles as an internal and external HDD simultaneously?

Can someone explain that to me?

It replaces your internal drive with solid state memory. read and writes are much faster then spinning plater based hard drives.

It has a SATA interface so you can use it internally. It also has a USB interface so you can use it externally.
