What's to say that is not a look-a-like phishing website? I'm always wary of deals that seem to good to be true... especially when they ask for your social security number, etc.

I'm embarrassed to say that thought never crossed my mind. But, after the fact when I type I can login with the information I provided and it shows the account. So it seems safe to me.

It showed a score only earlier (now is unavailable), but it was explained to me that FICO isn't really used for anything. Equifax is one of the three bureau's, but FICO is just a measurement of risk, somehow uses a different proprietary formula than the one used to determine your real credit score.

on soap box: Nationalize this shit, its too important to be left to closed door formulas and fuzzy math. And identity theft is the responsibility of the victim, sounds like Sarah Palin logic to me (God I hope that phrase is nonsensical by next month).: off soap box

This is great! Thanks!

Equifax is my favorite out of the three. It also asks for a promotional code, but you don't need that just click on continue and view your free credit score order.
