National Opt Out of Yellow Pages, White Pages & Phone Books Delivery - SAVE A TREE

About this Deal

Did You Know?

Directory paper does not come from freshly cut trees.

A wide range of new products are made from outdated directories.

The demand for directory paper has declined 29% since 2006.

Directories are made with non-toxic inks, dyes and adhesives.

Directories make up the smallest portion of the waste stream when compared to other non-durable products.

For more than a decade, the Yellow Pages industry has taken proactive measures to decrease our carbon footprint. We’re constantly working to transform and innovate our business so that we can continue supporting local businesses and consumers in the most environmentally friendly way.

I feel like this should be done automatically for every off campus housing unit in college. None of us use the yellow pages when there's Google!

I did this last year as I hadn't picked up a book in years and I found a yellow pages app just in case I ever needed it. YP app also may have local discounts listed.. I wish I could figure out a way to stop that little local book from arriving in my driveway now :)
