About this Deal

Trick-or-treating is going to look so much different this year than it ever has before. And since the novel coronavirus pandemic does present some risk for families who decided to head out on Halloween, many may choose to skip out altogether. Which is why the team at Lowe's is creating a unique trick-or-treating event this year that is designed to lower COVID-19 risks as much as possible, all while enabling families (especially those at high risk of complications) to celebrate in a new way. The best part? It's totally free.

The home improvement superstore announced this week that it's hosting "drive-through curbside trick-or-treating" available to the public at every single Lowe's store throughout the nation. It won't be held on Halloween exactly, but families can sign up to take part in the experience on October 22 and October 29 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Starting this weekend, families can sign up to snag a reservation, and roll up to Lowe's for the new Halloween experience later this month. Costumes aren't required, but we're guessing that the kids will be encouraged to show off their look (and their Halloween masks!) — all while they gear up to enjoy free candy. Plus, everyone who attends will be given a free pumpkin to take home, and can carve it with their families in the days leading up to Halloween.

"Our associates take great pride in serving our communities," Joe McFarland, Lowe's executive vice president of stores, said in a press release. "As we all find new ways to safely celebrate the holiday, we look forward to welcoming families to our drive-through curbside trick-or-treating events this year."

Sign up for your free trick-or-treating experience right here, and do so quickly — we'd hate for you to miss out on the Halloween fun! Follow along as we share more socially distanced, low-risk celebration ideas for Halloween this fall below
