About this Deal
Best Buy hasn't yet unveiled all of its Black Friday doorbusters but is offering up some deals early.
For two days – Oct. 13-14, which happens to be Amazon Prime Day – the Minneapolis-based electronics retailer says "shoppers can get dozens of deals straight from the not-yet-released Black Friday ad."
In a news release Thursday, Best Buy said one of the most anticipated deals of the season is a 70-inch Samsung 4K Smart TV for $529.99. There also will be laptops starting at $119.99 as part of the early sale.
Best Buy is both joining in retailers in competing against Amazon and kicking off holiday sales earlier than ever. Best Buy announced in late July that it would keep stores closed on Thanksgiving, a change from past years.

Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Bed Bath & Beyond also say they will start rolling out deals early. Sam's Club announced that it is extending its sales to give shoppers more time and to help with crowd control.
Best Buy said the rest of its Black Friday ad will be unveiled later this month and that it is offering consumers "more ways to shop safely than ever before, including contactless curbside pick-up, new store safety guidelines and more."

In July, Best Buy started requiring shoppers to wear masks in stores and will continue to limit how many can be in stores at a time this season.
“This will be a holiday season like no other, and we want to help our customers shop how, where and when they want," Best Buy spokesman Keegan Shoutz told USA TODAY. "This year, that means helping them start their shopping early, by starting our Black Friday deals earlier than ever before.”
According to a holiday survey from Affirm taken by 2,000 Americans, seven in 10 respondents said they’re more likely to buy something on sale now, rather than waiting for the traditional Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales.
Best Buy stores rolled curbside pickup out to stores nationwide.
Best Buy Black Friday guarantee
Best Buy also is offering a "Black Friday guarantee" on select, qualifying items purchased during its two-day sale.
"Because it’s 2020 and life is unpredictable, if the price on one of these deals goes lower before Black Friday, My Best Buy customers will be automatically reimbursed the difference," the company said.
According to the fine print, qualifying items will be identified on the website with a "Black Friday Price Guaranteed” message. The reimbursements will take place by Dec. 14 but limitations apply.
Best Buy holiday returns
Best Buy is kicking off its extended return period early, too.
Purchases made Oct. 13 through Jan. 2 can be returned through Jan. 16, Best Buy confirmed. Exclusions apply and the company's return policy is at www.bestbuy.com/returns.
