Since Christmas is just around the
corner, I thought I share with you a funny story I read online. I know that not
everyone likes these kinds of stories, but for those of you who appreciate a
good funny story (even if some might find it inappropriate and offending), here
Sam, a young boy, wanted a bike for
Christmas. So, he asked his mother to buy him one. His mother told him that
since it's Christmas, he should ask one for Santa Claus. But Sam said that
he'll ask one from Baby Jesus. And thus
he started to write the letter. He began like this: "Dear Jesus, I have been
a very good boy and would like to have a bike for Christmas."After reading it, he realized he did not
like the tone of the letter and the way he put the words, so he started writing
a new one.
The new one said "Dear
Jesus, I'm a good boy most of the time and would like a bike for Christmas." He
read this one to make sure he wrote correctly, but he did not like this one
either. So, he wrote a 3rd: "Dear
Jesus, I could be a good boy if I tried hard and especially if I had a new
bike." Of course, he was unsatisfied with this one as well. He left for a
walk to clear his head and think of a new approach.
While walking, he passed a
house that had a small statue of Virgin Mary. He took the statue, hid it under
the coat and went home. Went to his room and hid the statue under the bed.
After that, he wrote a new letter, one that said this: "Dear Jesus, IF you
want to see your mother again, you'd better send me a new bike."
Now, my question to you is: do you
think this story is all made up, or some boy really did something like this? My
opinion is that it may be true.
