I have these as well and I have not had a problem with them.

looks cheap.

Skullcandy: you either love or hate it. At $10 I'm not sure if its worth it. If they are very fragile I don't think its worth it. my ear phones are always losing sound from one side because the wires are frail

To me, they are not too fragile. I've been using these headphones for 1.5-2 years now, without a problem. At $10, I think that's a reasonable time of use.

I bought these a while back for that exact price from TJ Maxx and I was very satisfied with them for almost a year of traveling on the airplane and using these as a semi-sound-isolating headphones/music listening preference. I enjoyed them to the fullest, but after a while, one of the earpieces just stopped responding. The wires that some from the speaker down, are really thin, so I'm thinking something got work out. Aside from that, they've always served their duty

They have a lifetime warranty. Just send them in and they'll send you a new pair.
PGLUKHOV Mar 08, 2010
yeah, i wish i would have kept my receipt, and my box...but when you buy a $10 pair of headphones, you usually don't care much for either :)
TheJammer Mar 08, 2010
Actually, if you look on their site, don't need either the receipt or the box (at least I don't think you do). Just fill out the warranty form (

Even 10$ for skullcandies isn't worth it. Get something better.

Really? I really like my skullcandies. They seal my ear really well, so I can hear deep bass, and really good quality, as well as being decent at passive noise canceling (even on planes). The only thing I don't like is that the cord hitting anything makes a lot of noise that echoes to your ear, especially when working out.
