207 Million Eggs Recalled Over Salmonella Fears

Huge recall alert! Over 200 million eggs are being recalled across several states due to salmonella concerns. Indiana based company Rose Acre Farms has recalled the product after 22 cases of illness were reported. Eggs were sold in retail and restaurant environments in the following states: Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

  • Sunshine Farms
  • Glenview
  • Some eggs from Food Lion stores

Symptoms of salmonella include fever, nausea, diarrhea and abdominal pain. The FDA has stated that "Consumers with these eggs shouldn't eat them...Throw them away or return them to place of purchase for credit or refund."
