|Dunkin' Brands made a major announcement that they will be dropping "Donuts" from its logo! The decision is in response to the growing competition in the coffee and breakfast market and the brand's desire to be known for more than its donuts.|
In addition to the name change, Dunkin' will slim down its menu, increase speed of service and focus on its beverages, which account for about 60% of its sales.
The change will go into effect in January.
