JCPenney Will Soon Sell Used Clothes

About this Deal

Facing declining sales and falling shares, JCPenney just announced they will soon begin to sell used clothes.

Yes, you heard that right. JCPenney is partnering with the resale website thredUP to bring 30 popup shops to their stores nationwide. The new move comes as an effort to boost sales.

CEO Jill Soltau explains: "We are not simply running a business -- we are rebuilding a business. We are making a difference and today, I feel more confident than ever that we will reinvigorate and rejuvenate this great company to sustainable, profitable growth."

thredUP is an online resale website where users can buy and sell used clothing.

Hopefully with this new direction, JCPenney can turn things around and get back on track.

Smart! Other stores have their outlets, so this should help with sales.
