Netflix is Raising Subscription Prices

About this Deal

Netflix is raising prices in the U.S. by $1 to $2 per month. For example, the standard $11 plan will increase to $13 per month.

Over the next few months, existing members will see the new prices charged to their accounts. New users will start paying the new prices immediately.

Plan Price Increases:
  • $8 basic plan will increase to $9
  • $11 HD standard plan will increase to $13
  • $14 4K premium plan will increase to $16

While an increase of $1 to $2 per month doesn't seem like a lot, that's a total increase of $12 to $24 per year (depending on your plan).

Not happy about the increase, but we watch Netflix a lot so keeping it for now. I just wish our paychecks would increase every time one of these companies needed to increase rates. Since January 1st our health insurance went up $44 a month and now this increase!! Been an expensive start to the year. :(

Right, a $1 to $2 price increase doesn't seem like a lot, but when you add all your other expenses together, these increases can really start to hurt :(
