About this Deal
|With Toys 'R' Us gone, shoppers may be wondering where to buy their toys this holiday season. While the toy giant is no longer in business, there should be no trouble finding toys to put under the tree this year. Retail giants will be battling it out to get the most toy shoppers into their stores now that Toys 'R' Us is out of the way.|
By the start of November, Target should have more than 500 stores that will feature extra space for their toy inventory. Plus, they'll also be hosting in-store activities throughout the holiday season.
Meanwhile, Walmart, which surpassed Toys 'R' Us in becoming the largest toy seller in the U.S., has unveiled larger toy aisles in some stores. They're also selling 40% more toys online and offering hundreds of exclusive toys that can only be bought at Walmart.
Party City also began opening 55 Toy City locations in September. These temporary storefronts will stay open through the holidays while the company also tries selling a broader array of toys online.
