About this Deal

Were you affected by the Yahoo data breach that occurred between January 2012 to December 2016 and reside in either the United States or Israel? If so, then you are considered a Settlement Class Member of the Customer Data Security Breach Litigation Settlement against Yahoo! Inc. and Aabaco Small Business.

The class action settlement addresses the data breach that happened over the course of four years possibly putting many users' security at risk. Defendants will pay $117,500,000 to offer at least two years of Credit Monitoring Services to Settlement Class Members. For those who already have a credit monitoring service, alternative cash payment compensation of up to $358.80 will be provided with proper verification. Reimburments will also be given to anyone who paid for premium Yahoo! mail services or Aabaco Small Business services.

Plus, with proper documentation, some could receive payment of up to $25,000 if you experienced out-of-pocket losses and/or lost time.

The settlement is still under review and at this time. No payments will be made until the decision to approve the settlement is final. Anyone wanting to take part in the settlement must first file a claim by the specified deadline here.
