About this Deal

In the 75 years since Vernon Rudolph founded Krispy Kreme in Winston-Salem, NC, our iconic paper hat, Hot Now sign, Doughnut Theater and Original Glazed® doughnuts have been the driving force behind our mission to touch and enhance lives through the joy that is Krispy Kreme.

Reminiscent of the early 1940s when Krispy Kreme mobilized its small fleet of delivery trucks to bring our signature doughnuts to fans of all ages, the 2012 Glaze the Nation Tour is setting out to bring the celebration of our 75th birthday to Krispy Kreme fun-atics across the country.

For 260 days, tour guides Ron and Kim Schields will take to the road in our newly restored 1960 Flxible Starliner—the Krispy Kreme Cruiser—sharing the delicious tastes and joyful memories of Krispy Kreme at special events and Krispy Kreme shops throughout the United States.

I had no idea that krispy kreme had been around for that many years!! I only recall seeing them in my stores about 10-15 years ago.
